Introduction of HRBC
Under HRBC there are 7 branches and 1 vehicle repair depot. HRBC now has 997 various specialized technical personnel, including 733 technicians, 88 senior engineers, 198 engineers, as well as 52 First-Grade qualified project managers and 34 Second-Grade project managers. It possesses the fixed assets of 580 million yuan RMB for production, and 1471 sets of mechanical equipment including 861 sets of large-scale and modern equipment. Its annual workload includes 150 kilometers of expressway pavement, 7000 linear meters of large-scale bridges. In the last 15 years, HRBC has constructed expressway pavement 1150 kilometers , earthwork 799 kilometers, 65 large-scale and oversize bridges/37674 linear meters, housing works 240,000 square meters, and traffic safety devices 876 kilometers.
After developing for 50 years, HRBC has become one of the construction enterprises with the most advanced technical equipment, higher control level, the strongest capacity and the largest scale of execution in the domestic construction market, and it is in the advanced position among the contractors in China. In the appraisals of the employers, its completed projects and on-going projects are all among the best ones in which the majority are chosen as the first-place winner, for Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu expressway was awarded the First Prize of the state scientific-technical progress and ZHANTIANYOU Golden Award, Taiyuan-Jiuguan expressway was awarded LUBAN Golden Award and the First Prize of high-quality project by the Ministry of Communications, the Langfang section of Beijing-Shenyang expressway in 1999 and the contract No.3 on Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou expressway in 2000 were awarded the title of high-quality project in national highway construction enterprises. The overseas projects undertaken by HRBC, No.2, No.4 highway project and the garden-road works of the President in Madagascar were highly appraised by the Government of Madagascar and the technicians were received "Chevalier Medal' issued by the President of the Madagascar; La Castellana-Vallehermoso highway project was chosen as the best works under construction in Philippines. In 1999, HRBC was awarded the title of excellent contractor and in 2001, HRBC was chosen by the Ministry of Communications as an excellent enterprise in "Quality Year" activity.
HRBC carries through the thought of ''Taking qualified personnel as the basis of the enterprise", strive to improve employee's comprehensive quality and uses advanced corporate culture to promote the development of the enterprise. HRBC has been conferred the title of "Civilized Unit" for 8 years in succession by the Government of Hebei Province.
